THE AMAZING PIZZA MACHINE TO HAVE MAJOR ECONOMIC IMPACT IN THE GREATER OMAHA METRO AREA

OMAHA, NE (March 20, 2006) The Amazing Pizza Machine will do more than “Crank Out the Food and Fun” when it opens on April 28, 2006. It will also generate nearly $100 million in economic impact in the Omaha metro area.

The Amazing Pizza Machine will employ approximately 300 full- and part-time employees. According to an economic impact analysis conducted by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce by combining the direct average payroll with all the other revenue that payroll will generate – including goods and services that the company purchases, along with the increased household spending of employees – the total value of economic activity is pushing $100 million.*

With an initial capital investment of more than $10 million, The Amazing Pizza Machine is the region’s largest family entertainment-restaurant complex, offering great tasting, kid-friendly food and a variety of family-oriented entertainment all located under one roof.

The menu offerings include a pizza and pasta buffet, a baked penne pasta dish, a salad and dessert bar and daily specialty food items. In addition to the restaurant, patrons will have access to 140 different games and ten rides and attractions such as bumper cars, a go-cart racetrack and glow-in-the-dark golf, a wild coaster-type ride, and The Frog-Hopper®.

Themed dining rooms, including a sports room offering sports programming on its big-screens, a karaoke stage, 10 private party rooms and a cartoon theatre are also featured in the 65,000 square foot facility located at 139th and “S” Plaza in Millard.

The Amazing Pizza Machine is owned by 6 4 Fun, LLC, a Nebraska company committed to creating a fun, family-friendly entertainment venue.

* Methodology
The economic impact analysis of The Amazing Pizza Machine was conducted using the IMPLAN Model. The IMPLAN Model is the most detailed and widely used input-output impact model system in the United States. It can be customized for any county, region or state, and used to assess the “ripple effects” or “multiplier effects” caused by increasing or decreasing spending in various parts of the economy. It is used primarily to assess the economic impacts of facilities or industries, or changes in their level of activity in a given area.
